This page is the custom activewear manufacturing page for yoga and seamless training ranges. The custom supplier page covers supply, and the private-label page covers label ownership. Use this page when the question is custom production for a brand range.
Custom production for a range
Custom production needs a range plan first: which garments are custom, which are logo-only, and which are colour-only. A range plan that treats every garment as fully custom will need more development than a plan that separates logo-only lines from developed lines, and the supplier should confirm that split before sampling starts.
Artwork, colour references and size information should arrive with the first brief for every custom line. A custom range sampled without artwork will produce plain samples that cannot answer logo or colour questions, and the sampling round will need to be repeated.
Custom range and private label
Custom activewear and private-label activewear overlap, but they are not the same brief. Custom describes how the garments are made to a brand's specification. Private label describes whose label goes on them. A brand order often needs both, and the two pages should be read together, with custom notes on this page and label notes on the private-label page.
For each custom line, state the kind of custom wanted: logo, colour, size run, or a developed style from a tech pack. That single line per garment prevents the most common custom sampling error, which is sampling a developed style when only a logo change was wanted, or vice versa.
