Custom details that must be in the first brief
Logo method changes sampling: a printed logo, an embroidered logo and an applied logo need different artwork, different sample checks and sometimes different hoodie colours. State the method, send the artwork, and state the logo size and placement for each colour. A logo that works on a dark hoodie may need a different treatment on a light hoodie, so list colours with their logo notes, not apart from them.
Custom colour also needs care. State whether the custom colour must match an existing brand colour, and send a reference for that colour. A colour name alone, without a reference, will be interpreted differently by different suppliers, and the sample will then be judged against a colour the buyer never sent.
